Page 1 of 5 Installing Wordpress template themes can be quick and simple once you have installed Wordpress on your blog website. First, download your wordpress theme and extract the theme files for FTP. Next, FTP the wordpress theme to your blog website. You will place the theme in the blog site subfolder wp-content/themes/  For example, www.startingablog.com/blog/wp-content/themes/ if your blog is located in a sub-directory on your website. Once your blog template is ready, go to your wordpress blog admin panel and select "Presentation". You can now select the new wordpress theme in the Available Themes section. Once you have selected the new theme, the next tab in the wordpress blog theme presentation manager is the Widgets tab. This will allow you to choose the theme widgets that will be displayed in the blog sidebar.   |
