Another benefit of using TypePad as your blog platform is the continued expansion of new and fresh blog themes.  A blog theme template means you can quickly change your design.

There are many neutral styles and colors that will work well for just about any blog.  You'll also have instructions for creating a custom theme.

In addition to the blog platform provided themes, you can get ideas for themes from looking at other blogs or even general website template sites online.

What could be better than a personal blog designer?  Well, not much... But TypePad has announced a new  blog design tool.

Today we're introducing the Design Assistant to TypePad.  The Design Assistant made its debut for Movable Type a few weeks ago, eliciting responses like "This is amazing!", "Very cool!", "Fantastic! This is something many didn't even dream of". This new Assistant comes with all the features and functionality that wowed the MT audience, but it's custom-tailored to work with the 100+ unique themes built into TypePad.

So now we have no excuse for not getting a little creative with our blog theme every month!

Nice work TypePad, this type of innovation means I don't need to scrub the Internet looking for a new skin.
