For those of us just blogging for fun, expression, and to learn more about self publishing you probably don’t need to worry about tending to your blog every day.  For corporate blogs you’ll need more planning and attention to content and marketing.  And for those that are starting a blog to make revenue and large traffic, be prepared for a significant time investment.  See Court’s post here on a “flagship blog“.
