The community of bloggers is also referred to as the blogosphere.
The term is often related to how a topic or issue is taken up by those people that author blogs. And it is typically used in conjunction with a news or political centered topic.
As of today Google reports 18,300,000 web results for “blogosphere” and around 3,133 active news stories for the term.
